Incorporated on 28th August 2015, IFFCO-MC Crop Science Pvt. Ltd. (IFFCO-MC) is a joint venture between Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) and Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan with equity holding in the ratio of 51:49 respectively. The Vision of IFFCO-MC is “To enhance farmer income by providing good quality crop protection products at reasonable prices.”
In line with its vision, IFFCO-MC is working towards development of channel for farmers to access genuine products and knowledge with focus on safety, health and environment.
The Company operations have expanded to 17 states covering major territories with more than 6,500 channel partners. Apart from its existing basket of 61 products, the Company is also working towards introduction of new exclusive molecules in the country with an aim to provide effective and beneficial solution to farmers for their crop protection needs.
The unique business model of the Company is farmer centric and transparent wherein IFFCO-MC products are available to farmers at the printed MRP which is distinctly in-variance with the Trade practice.
The Company also provides free accidental insurance cover to farmers through the novel insurance scheme named "Kisan Suraksha Bima Yojana".
The Company has been maintaining a positive bottom line since inception.
